The CCFS can accommodate secondary, tertiary, and university groups, as well as individual researchers for several days up to multiple weeks, depending on each group's or individual’s agenda. Prior to arrival, the CCFS Manager can work with group leaders and researchers to tailor to their specific needs.
Visiting groups must ensure that they have sufficient supervisors for the students especially for water based activities. CCFS recommends 10 students per instructor or supervisor.
All visitors are reminded that the Calabash Caye Field Station (CCFS) is a campus of the University of Belize (UB) and thus carries the rules of the main campus. In a concerted attempt to minimize risks on the island, guests are asked to kindly refrain from bringing alcohol or any mood/behavior altering substance to the island.
